Ocho Rios

Ocho Rios sits on the lush north coast of St. Ann — Jamaica's Garden Parish — where jungle-green hills tumble straight down to a calm, protected bay. If Montego Bay is about the beach and Negril is about the sunset, Ocho Rios is about doing things: climbing waterfalls, ziplining through rainforest, rafting rivers, and swimming with dolphins.

Dunn's River Falls is the icon — a 180-foot cascade you climb hand-in-hand up its natural limestone steps. At night, Ocho Rios pulls back into a small-town rhythm: jerk pans on Main Street, live music at Ocean Village, and a short drive up the hill to Nine Mile — Bob Marley's birthplace and mausoleum. Family-friendly by day, quietly romantic by night.
