Quiet south-coast cove with an authentic local soul.

About Treasure Beach

Treasure Beach is Jamaica's south-coast antidote to the resort strip. There is no all-inclusive, no cruise pier, no traffic light — just a string of four fishing villages (Billy's Bay, Frenchman's Bay, Calabash Bay, and Great Pedro Bay) strung along six miles of golden-sand cove and quiet coastline.

The signature experience is Floyd's Pelican Bar — a rickety wooden bar built on a sandbar a mile out to sea, reached by fishing boat, where you drink Red Stripe with your feet in the water and pelicans overhead. Closer to shore, YS Falls delivers seven turquoise tiers with rope swings, and the Black River Safari cruises mangroves alive with crocodiles and egrets.

Days end slowly here. Sunset from Jack Sprat or Jake's, fresh-caught fish grilled to order, and a sky so dark the Milky Way is unmistakable. St. Elizabeth is Jamaica's breadbasket parish — the food is exceptional, the pace is generous, and repeat visitors outnumber first-timers by a wide margin.
